The Kinetic Adventure Centre welcomes all budding chefs to our Discovery centre. Today we are open for those who wish to try some basic baking. The workshop lasts for one and a half hours while we talk about cookery and make something nice to eat or take home. We will get messy and so do not wear your best clothes. This is aimed at 6 years and above and an ideal time for the children to be hands on without the adults watching them. However the adults are required to stay in the building for these first few sessions. We ask that young siblings do not attend unless supervised totally by the accompanying adults so we can concentrate on cooking with the children. This cookery session will be repeated over the three Saturdays on offer and so this gives the customer a choice of three Saturdays to take part. After half term we are offering a four week Cookery Club programme for the children and you can sign up for this soon. If you book all four weeks there is a discount.
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes (and no earlier) before the start of your workshop so we can sign you in and welcome you ready to take you through to the room. Our cafe and shop will be open for visitors as well after the workshop. Why not combine your visit with a discounted ticket to play in the centre. If playing in the centre after the workshop then a ticket must be purchased for everyone in your group.
PLEASE NOTE: These tickets are issued on a timeslot basis and we ask that you on time or you may miss some of the important instructions in the workshop. If playing and exploring the centre afterwards it is aimed at ages 4 – 11 years of age and those outside of those ages will find items to entertain, however your stay may be a shorter time. We have a car park to the rear of the building and we advise parking there and walking around to the front door. This ticket is non-refundable but can be transferred to a different date.
