The Kinetic Adventure Centre welcomes all budding chefs to our Discovery centre. Today we are open for those who wish to try some basic and simple cookery and each day has a different recipe. The workshop lasts for just over one hour while we talk about cookery and make something nice to eat or take home. We will get messy and so do not wear your best clothes. This is aimed at 6 years and above and an ideal time for the children to be hands on without the adults or the adults are welcome to stay and join in. We ask that young siblings do not attend unless supervised totally by the accompanying adults so we can concentrate on cooking with the children. When purchasing a ticket for the children, please let us know if you are staying too by purchasing an adult ticket at no extra cost. This is so we can count numbers in the room that we will be cooking.
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes (and no earlier) before the start of your workshop so we can sign you in and welcome you ready to take you through to the room. Our cafe and shop will be open for visitors as well after the workshop. Why not combine your visit with a discounted ticket to play in the centre. If playing in the centre after the workshop then a ticket must be purchased for everyone in your group.
PLEASE NOTE: These tickets are issued on a timeslot basis and we ask that you on time or you may miss some of the important instructions in the workshop. If playing and exploring the centre afterwards it is aimed at ages 4 – 11 years of age and those outside of those ages will find items to entertain, however your stay may be a shorter time. We have a car park to the rear of the building and we advise parking there and walking around to the front door. This ticket is non-refundable but can be transferred to a different date.
