Event Details
The Kinetic Adventure Centre welcomes all budding scientists to our Discovery centre. There is an opportunity today to join the workshop to do with flight. We will make three things to fly, including an air rocket, a paper aeroplane and a choice of a straw rocket or a paper parachute/hot air balloon. The workshop lasts for approx one hour while we all stick and glue and then ends with flying our machines!! This is aimed at 5 years and above and an ideal time for the adults accompanying to be hands on and help their child or children make the best flying machines. There will be prizes and fun to be had!! We ask that no really tiny and young siblings attend as there will be small parts that could be consumed or that little ones who attend are carefully watched. All children must be accompanied by an adult in the room and the adults ticket and younger siblings tickets are free!!
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes (and no earlier) before the start of your workshop so we can sign you in and welcome you ready to take you through to our event room. Our cafe and shop will be open for visitors as well after the workshop. Why not combine your visit with a discounted ticket to play in the centre. If playing in the centre after the workshop then a ticket must be purchased for everyone in your group.
PLEASE NOTE: These tickets are issued on a timeslot basis and we ask that you on time or you may miss some of the important instructions in the workshop. If playing and exploring the centre afterwards it is aimed at ages 4 – 11 years of age and those outside of those ages will find items to entertain, however your stay may be a shorter time. We have a car park to the rear of the building and we advise parking there and walking around to the front door. This ticket is non-refundable but can be transferred to a different date.
